Strange neighbor

I listen to your voice,

But cannot hear a word.

It's just a senseless noise

Or whisper of a sort.

You show me the sign,

But gestures are fatigue.

Alone they or combined

Each one is so unique.

A glance at your demands

Gives futuristic sight:

Your own private lands -

The world you build inside.

It's like a fake cartoons:

So vivid, so unreal.

You blow up balloons

Inflated in such zeal.

Absurdities I find...

But startling thought just came:

What if in your strange mind

You see me... just the same?..
